The Horsehair Process: The hair is cut from the horse mane or tail without harming or discomforting the animal. After cleaning and sorting the hair, it is treated with pigments and dyes. The result is this brightly colored and light material. At last, using a fine basket weaving technique the artisans create butterflies, flowers, angels, and more.
